New in 2012
Challenging Trails

Look for exciting new black/expert trails on the West Mountain: Spyder's Web trail, North Park Trail, Bounty Hunter Trail, and Dean's Glade. A fourth trail, Serendipity, is located on the skier's left off Sky Diver and drops into Dean's Glade. These runs offer gladed skiing/riding and take advantage of the mountain's favorable aspect and great conditions-a north/northeast exposure means the snow stays in terrific shape.

Terrain Ski Granby Ranch offers multiple terrain parks, some tucked in the trees, and all serviced by our quad-speed lift. We craft cool, unexpected features from recycled materials and beetle kill pine, like the three new log jibs in Ted's Secret Stash- a new log C-rail, 55-foot long A-frame, and T-post. There are new rails and bonks, including a plastic water tank bonk, metal spool, and barrel bonk. Trails and features aren't the only thing new on the mountain.

Fun! Night skiing and tubing has extended its hours to both Fridays and Saturdays, 5 to 8 pm. In the Children's Center, even little groms can join in the fun with our new snowboard rental fleet and lesson program that caters to kids ages three to five years. Don't miss the new Saturday family movie nights (see dates) in the dining hall.

Behind the Scenes Behind the scenes, seven new energy efficient snowmaking guns are cranking out snow to pack the mountain for skiers and boarders of all ages.

This ski/ride season make sure you put Ski Granby Ranch on your list of places to visit and see why we're considered a hidden gem in the Colorado Rockies.
