Bud Light Big Air Fridays, Feb. 8 - March 29, Fanny Hill at Snowmass Mountain, The always entertaining Friday afternoon show is entering its 10th year at Snowmass. Big Air Fridays attracts competitors from near and far (including the occasional vacationer) to show off what they've been practicing all week. Athletes will showcase the newest and most progressive tricks around off of the 40 foot jump on upper Fanny Hill.

Mardi Gras Celebration, February 12th, 2013. Snowmass celebrates 31 years of Fat Tuesday revelry with the biggest Mardi Gras bash in the mountains. From mask-making for kids to a midafternoon madcap parade to crawdad boils, king cake and parties at local bars, this authentic fete offers Cajun fun for every age.

Skiers and riders can access all four mountains using 100% automated gates - a total of 40 gates
at all access points on the mountains. All lift tickets have been replaced with a plastic card containing
an RF (radio frequency) chip that detects when guests move through the gates. Automated gates with
the latest technology means guests spend less time in lift lines and more time skiing and riding! With
hands-free gates you can put your pass in your pocket and never take it out again.


BIGGEST EVENT
Bud Light Big Air Fridays Bud Light Big Air Fridays series of events takes place over eight Fridays throughout the season (February 11, 18 & 25; March 4, 11, 18 & 25; April 1, 2011) and features top skiers and snowboarders from the region, music and prizes! Colorado Freeride Championships (February 25-26, 2011). Big-mountain skiers and riders put it all on the line in judged runs down the cliff-littered steeps of Snowmass. This event draws a complete field of top athletes and amateurs from around the globe and the mountain provides great viewing options at the Hanging Valley and Burnside Cliffs.
